FAR has many opportunities to volunteer. We have regular work parties to maintain and improve the facilities. Some of the tasks involve: pouring and finishing concrete, painting, welding, electrical wiring, metal work, computer work, and more. We have regular launches and test firings where you can help with set up or managing crowds. If you have knowledge in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM), you can help with mentoring our younger participants. If you have technical expertise in the rocketry field, your technical input is always appreciated. Please contact us through the Volunteer page, if you would like to volunteer. If you do volunteer for FAR, your mileage and cost of gas and oil driving to and from FAR Site is tax deductible. (Please consult with your tax preparer.)
