Individuals can donate money to support our activities. Businesses can donate money and equipment. A majority of our funds are utilized in making improvements to FAR site. The remainder of our funds are used to pay for maintenance and consumables like: generator fuel, water, hand tools, rockets, and propellants. We have no paid employees, Directors, or officers, so all the funds go to the site.

Friends of Amateur Rocketry (FAR) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation FIN:06-1691743 with the Internal Revenue Service and is registered in the California Charitable Registry #2507255. Both cash and noncash donations are tax deductible.

Donations to FAR are utilized to buy tools and supplies, and maintain and improve our facilities.

Business Donors

FAR is thankful for the many business donations we have received. These donations have helped us get started. Business donations can be cash and noncash. Cash donations go to help improve our facilities and help our many educational activities. Noncash donations such as: metal shelving, aerospace fittings, valves, regulators, electronic equipment, test equipment, test stands, and more are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
